Light Up Hunger draws on Gould Group's expertise in energy management and efficiency to provide consulting services and energy improvements to food banks. Our projects reduce energy costs by thousands of dollars per year. Those savings can be redirected to serve those in need directly.

Farm Share
Farm Share is Florida's largest independent food bank. Light Up Hunger completed an Energy Waste Walk in partnership with Gould Group and Americold at the Farm Share headquarters in Homestead, FL. We donated $30,000 in LED lighting upgrades, which reduce energy costs by approximately $9,900 per year.

GFRC
Georgia Food and Resource Center is located near McDonough, GA. In 2021 they donated 6 over million pounds of food. Light Up Hunger completed an Energy Waste Walk at GFRC's facility in partnership with Gould Group and Americold. We donated $10,000 in LED lighting upgrades, which reduce energy costs by approximately $3,300 per year.
